A growing services company is looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Tally software, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to ensure accurate record-keeping across various financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally Accounting Software.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments follow ups.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurate.
- Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and other statutory regulations.
- Preparation and submission of VAT, GST, and other necessary returns.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within a small or medium-sized business environment.
- Expertise in Tally Accounting Software is a must.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and statutory regulations (GST, VAT, Taxation).
- Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
