Demonstrate compliance with Energy Efficiency performance standards in the UAE – and make use of our comprehensive services !
The mandatory UAE Energy Efficiency Label program (EESL) is supervised and managed by the ESMA (Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology) which is the authorized government agency responsible for the development of standards. EESL-regulations are enforced by the ECAS Product Certification scheme or – on a voluntary basis – by the EQM (Emirates Quality Mark) scheme. TUV Rheinland is appointed by ESMA to issue either ECAS- or EQM-certificates proving, thus proving compliance with the UAE EESL technical regulation.
Energy Efficiency Standardization & Labeling (EESL) stipulates UAE standards for ‘Performance and Labelling' of regulated products. Test results include the calculation of an energy efficiency rating on a five star rating scale (5 stars representing the highest level of energy efficiency).
